Gas turbine is burning natural gas and is driving the generator, which in turn makes electricity.

Hot exhausts from the gas turbine are ducted through a gas utilisation boiler, which heats up water to make steam. Subsequently, the steam drives the steam turbine, which by driving the generator is then making additional power.

Both turbines are located on a single shaft together with the generator.
