The investor and operator of the Malženice gas and steam turbine power plant is the in Trakovice -based E.ON Elektrárne s.r.o. The company was founded in November 2000 under the name Malženice Power, s.r.o by Advanced Power AG and Siemens Project Ventures GmbH. In May 2006 the company was undertaken as the Slovakian subsidiary of the German E.ON Kraftwerke GmbH. E.ON Elektrárne s.r.o. is managed by Dr. Milada Schrödel and Mr. Torsten Flosbach. By the year 2010, the company will employ about 35 people to operate the Power Plant.
